Glue Layer - wrong connections

What I’m trying to do:
I’m following the official arm rig tutorial (video link), specifically the part covering the creation of the Glue Layer.

What’s happening instead:

When I create the Glue Layer and switch to debug mode, I don’t see the connections (lines/links) between the different muscles, unlike what’s shown in the video.

Product: Adonis FX / Shift
Version and build number: AdonisFX_2.1.0.beta2
Operating system: Windows
Software and version: Maya 2024.2

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create the Glue Layer following the procedure shown in the video
  2. Enable Glue Layer debug mode
  3. Notice that no visual connections appear between the muscles, unlike what’s expected from the tutorial

Any error messages or diagnostic files: no errors in the script editor

Hello Emanuele,

To further assist you, could you please check the following?

Could you confirm whether you have modified the Max Glue Distance parameter on the AdnGlue node? You can find it under Advanced Settings > Dynamic Properties > Max Glue Distance.

If this value is set to 0.0, it is expected that no glue constraints will be generated. Please try increasing the Max Glue Distance value so the glue connections can be created and the constraint lines become visible.

Also, could you please change Debug > Feature to Glue Constraints? In the screenshots you shared, it looks like you are currently visualizing Distance Constraints instead.

Best regards
